Why this matters

An economy should serve people. MOREHU PARTY believes work should provide dignity, local enterprise should be able to thrive and families who contribute should be able to build security rather than merely survive.

Assess practical ways to reduce pressure on essentials without shifting unsustainable costs onto future generations.

Before this priority becomes final party policy, MOREHU PARTY will:

Listen to workers, families, sole traders, employers and regional communities.
Cost proposals responsibly and publish the assumptions behind them.
Test whether each proposal strengthens opportunity, resilience and productive capacity.
