Why this matters

Public power is a responsibility, not a possession. MOREHU PARTY believes people deserve transparent decisions, careful stewardship of public money and leaders who explain their choices and accept accountability.

Set strong expectations for conflicts of interest, conduct, financial controls and truthful public communication.

People closer to decisions

Create genuine opportunities for communities to participate before major decisions are finalised.

Service before status

Expect representatives to remain accessible, respectful and focused on the public good.

Before this priority becomes final party policy, MOREHU PARTY will:

Build strong internal governance and financial controls from the party’s foundation.
Consult communities on how public participation can become more meaningful.
Publish clear policy development, approval and accountability processes.
